You can get to Cluj-Napoca:

- by plane directly to Cluj-Napoca Airport

- by plane, through Bucharest (Romania) and then using a plane transfer to Cluj-Napoca

- by car (have fun)

- by plane, through Budapest (Hungary) and then by plane transfer or using a small bus (5hrs)

- by train, 8 hrs from Bucharest, complicated from Budapest (not advisable)

The  9 th  National Congress of Angiology and Vascular Surgery, with international participation will take place at the Student’s House of Culture - Cluj-Napoca, Lucian Blaga Plaza, 1 - 3

The Congress will  be  open  on  June 2, 2011   at   9.00  a.m.  and  will close  on  June 4 th 2011.

 

CONGRESS  SECRETARIAT

The Congress Secretariat opens  on  June 2,  2011   at   8.00  a.m.  and  stays open every day  from  8.00  a.m.   to  7.00  p.m.

 

Languages

The official languages of the Congress are: Romanian, English and French. Simultaneous translation into English and French will be available on request.

 

Visual  Facilities

Congress halls will have all presentation facilities (video/slides etc).

Currency. Exchange  and  Banks

The local currency in Romania  is  RON.  (1 €  ~ 4,3 RON, on Jan 1, 2011).

Stores and restaurants in Romania accept only RON.

Foreign currencies can be changed at banks, at the airport and major hotels. 

All major credit cards are widely accepted.

Banks are open from  9.00  a.m.  to  5.00  p.m.

The time zone in Cluj-Napoca  is   GMT + 2 .

 

Climate
The weather in Cluj-Napoca at this time of the year is warm and sunny with temperature around 16 - 200 C.

 The Congress will consist of  invited  Key – Lectures, Symposia and Round Tables, Oral Communication Session and Poster Presentation.

 

Certificate  of  Attendance

Certificate of Attendance at the Congress will be given to all registered participants, as well as CME credits.

Accreditation for Continuing Medical Education will be accorded.

 
ABSTRACT  SUBMISSION  AND  ACCEPTANCE

All Invited  Speakers and all Participants are kindly invited to send the Abstract of their Papers and to submit original Contributions for presentation at the Congress in one of suggested categories or topics.

Abstract must be submitted in English on the attached Abstract form : the preferred method of presentation should be indicated.  Authors are kindly requested to follow the guidelines for composition of the abstract reported in the Abstract Form.

Abstracts not prepared according to the instructions will not be accepted for publication.

Authors must register with the Congress, otherwise the abstract will not be included in Final Programme and  in  the  Romanian Journal of Angiolology and Vascular Surgery, official journal of the Romanian Society of Angiolology and Vascular Surgery .
